A Legacy of Chicago Architecture
Jens J. Jensen, Sr. began his practice in 1915 in downtown Chicago. From the 1930’s through the 1950’s the firm focused on and produced mainly commercial architecture of which office and retail buildings were the majority. Jens J. Jensen, Jr. took the helm through 1998. Jarrett J. Jensen, AIA has led the Firm since 1995 and is President and CEO. Many hundreds of Shopping Centers, Grocery and Drug Stores, Retail Developments and Commercial Building projects were designed and built in and around Chicagoland and the Midwest by Jensen & Jensen Architects over (3) generations, a track record of which we are very proud.
We continue to specialize in restaurant, retail, commercial and residential Architecture today including store and restaurant buildings, shopping centers, office buildings, and warehouses as well as master planning, development services, entitlements, Architectural Design and 3D color Renderings for building interior and exteriors, planning, and interior design.
